The Danforth BIA Lawsuit

Mary Fragedakis is the former executive director of the GreekTown on the Danforth Business Improvement Area until she was fired in 2025.

In March 2026, Fragedakis filed a lawsuit against the GreekTown on the Danforth BIA seeking $115,000 in damages. Fragedakis claimed she had been defamed and harassed by the BIA's board chair.

In its court filings, the BIA said that its board had become dissatisfied with Fragedakis in 2025 and alleged that its chair had spoken to her several times about her attitude and willingness to follow board directions.
